I actually like to study the history particularly back in the medieval times and would love to learn the language. I plan to do Romanian Studies for my master's degree.

Like, W.H.Y.D., AIN is another one of my least favorite WT songs, but I do listen to it occasionally. The video is very nice, though. And the Black Symphony version.

I love All I Need. Now it sums up a time where I felt at times my best and worst. It was my exact feeling at the time and it turned out to be true.

Although I'd never let anyone have a WT song as you'll end up hating them or not being with them anymore It makes me feel happier now.

Altought it`s not one of the best WT songs,it`s contratry one of my favorites because it`s very relatable..plus i love the tempo and the acoustic guitar

This is definitely my favorite Within Temptation song!
I mean, seriously, even though it doesn't relate to me at all, I love the lyrics because they're so meaningful, powerful, beautiful, and so deep!
Then the song, the instrumentation/music is awesome! I love the guitar parts, the drum beats, the keyboard; it gives it a soothing, "jazz-like" feel to the song! The mood is really "sad-ish" but relaxing at the same time!
Then the vocals...Oh my fuckin god, I love them! I love the "Pop-ish" sound, her voice is really soothing, and her voice here sounds so fragile and delicate and innocent(I mean that as a good thing), and it's oh so beautiful, angelic, and so hypnotizing. And her Vibrato is amazing! Her voice, in this song, gives me chills and goosebumps all over my body!
Then the video...the video is so fuckin awesome! Some of you might not understand it, but there's so much symbolism, imagery, elements, and depth to the video. PLUS, no surprise here, Sharon looks really, REALLY hot! (Personally, my favorite "Sharon look" from all the videos!)

This song has been written from the point of view of someone who has been disappointed in love and life. A person who has found something or someone he wants to believe in again. At the same time he knows that he won't be able to deal with a new disappointment. Our friend was a Frisian and he bought me a fake Frisian passport. :-) I can remember it had all kinds of info about Friesland and it provided discount at, for instance, museums, stores, and cinemas. This immediately broke the ice. Although I'd known him for as long as I can remember -- I was a bit shy back then. I only saw him when he was in the country, when he had to work in my hometown with my dad. He lived in Indonesia where he'd married and had a family, but whenever he was in Holland he stayed at my grandma's place, where he would rent a room. When he gave me the passport he said: "As this will be your first time in Friesland, I won't be able to take you with me unless you have a Frisian passport..." LOL. He was this really big guy, who was not much of a talker, but the fact that I was shy made him talk the whole trip long. He told me all kinds of things about the cities we passed, the environment and about his beautiful Friesland. He treated me like a grown-up, which was really good for my self-esteem. It was a great start of the weekend. I had forgotten about this trip, but when things like this happen, you start to remember many things you'd forgotten about along the way. I still have that passport and I'll always have my memories. I really was a good guy. Rest in peace. ~Sharon

I've always thought All I Neeed is a very personal song but this story just brought my to tears

So powerful and saddening! All I Need just became a more meaningful and powerful song to me! It has always been my favorite song, but now it's even more than the rest (I don't think I made any sense there, but I don't care) I have more respect and love for this song now!

For example, one guy gave a rude comment about her, so I told him (and it went something like this:) "Dude, I know Sharon is fuckin hot and what not, you're not the only one, but that doesn't give you any right to disrespect her in that manner. Oh, and this other guy said "I would jeez all over that bitch" so I responded with something like this: "Your mom right!? I mean, you did say BITCH, right? Because I know Sharon isn't one, so it has to be your mom then. BTW, that's what I did to your mom last night, so yeah..."
