I like this song a lot. Does anybody know what it's about?

How we're treating our planet.

"As the sea started rising, the land that we conquered just washed away" = Global warming and all of the ice caps melting and raising the sea level.

"Our greed just made us all go blind" = We've really only thought of ourselves and how to make our lives easier. For example: Cars. They pollute so badly...but they make our lives a whole lot easier, so we use them.

"Today is the end of tomorrow" = What we've done in the present will greatly effect the future, so much so, that we may not even have a future.

"Although we all have tried to turn back the time" = Now people are realizing that we're fucking up our planet and now with Hybrid cars and whatnot, people are trying to save it.


And so forth. Amazing song. Nuff said.

this song rocks!! it has so much meaning and the music is just kick-ass!

TSF's best imo. Nuff said.

Oh, and a friend of mine used to think Sharon sings "As goths we shaped the world around"

you can understand that though it does sound a bit like that if you think about it

I love how she can control the audience with her little finger when she does the "hey"s during the last instrumental part.

I never really got excited about this song. But the other day I was listening to TSF and I was like...yeah!!!!
I like " As the sea starting rising, the land that we conquered just washed away "

same one of my fav lines in the song.

This song always makes me feel really great when I hear it. I love the lyrics also

That's the bit I like most.

And the melody is really catchy. I wish they'd played it at BS or Eindenhoven.

BS Forsaken would have been AMAZING. Zomg. Yes.

I love those lyrics too. ....I think I just love the lyrics in general. ♥

Forsaken has never been one of my favourites but I do have a new love for it after listening to loads of live versions. Pale and Forsaken were my least favourites on TSF *hides* but Pale is a favourite now I do love Forsaken just not as much. Sharon's voice on it is so angelic though so I dont know why. Maybe the lyrics are a little less personally identifiable with.

but i preffer this song live because i love Sharon`s accent on"Ken"(the end of Forsaken)

One of the first WT songs I heard- on a King Arthur (2004) fanvid actually. Now I seem to always associate this song with that movie.

I'm going to burn in Hell for saying this, but I think Forsaken is better than Angels, or even Jillian for that matter. It's amazing. Sharon's voice is so sweet and angelic on this one.

It's my least favourite on TSF. Sharon sounds lovely on it and it's a good song it just doesn't capture me like all the other songs.

Oh, Kellie... It's one of my favourites from TSF. Very powerful to me, and Sharon indeed sings lovely. And I just love the last 30 seconds, epic!
