It's amazing. Lyrics, and music. It's kinda simple and complex at the same time in this really beautiful way.

Utopia is a perfect summary of everything WT stands for, all the beauty, passion and love all their other songs represent. Or at least all the wonderful meaning WT as in my heart.

The line that is something like...'You're holding my hand, but you don't understand" Think about it...no one can ever really understand how we truly feel about something...take even for example how much people I try to explain my love of WT to don't understand....but it is alright because that is what love and faith is based on- that support and guidance we get and give without being in that persons exact shoes. It's beautiful.

And the first line...I guess this has a lot of meaning for me because WT was the thing that allowed me to live freely...

THIS SONG MAKES ME SO HAPPY.

Did anyone else notice the radio guy kinda gasp in the beginning...He too is in shock like everyone knows WT is great, but here is living proof. Sharon and Robert go off and have a baby in their happy little world and then they come back and prove to the world they learned something from all their experiences...and then give words and feelings to this intense love.

I am in love. I cant even explain. Sharon sounds so beautiful it's unbelievable. Just beautiful. The lyrics are amazing and I really do like Chris' voice he sounds right on the song and isn't overpowering at all. Which I am happy about

I agree with Amy right there, some things are unexplainable, there are sometimes things you can't simply explain with just words, and only then are our feelings and emotions the true nature that gives it all its meanings and understanding!
I love Utopia, I love Sharon, I love Within Temptation, and I love Chris (in a non-homosexual way, that is of course, lol!) I'm so happy and proud of them! And with complete honesty, the thing that really surprised me the most out of this song was Sharon's voice. <3 I mean, I know it's perfect already, but she just broke that barrier of perfection! Her voice is beyond perfect, beyond superb, beyond beautiful, beyond angelic! Her voice is the essence and epitome of Pureness, Perfection, Holyness, Beauty, and GODLYNESS!

I think it's reminded me of just how much I love Sharon's voice. Like seriously she has the most beautiful ever. Ok we knew that but just wow. She just gets more amazing.

Her voice is in the second verse just blows me away especially 'I'm searching for answers not given for free' just perfect.

And Ruud's guitar is gorgeous yeah I really dont know how to explain how much or why I love this song still. It's just perfect.

I love Utopia .And it's really something I wouldn't expect from WT,but on the other hand it totally fits with the acoustic live album What I really love about is that I'm able to hear Sharon again(I really missed her voice!),and the fact that Chris doesn't overpower Sharon,he is there more for the atmosphere.The lyrics are really beautiful aswell.Overall,I do really enjoy the song and it might become one of my favorites

Still don't have words that can possibly describe it. Seriously. I could try typing out an entire paragraph about what I think about it, but I love it so much that I can't really think about why.

Hmm, I still don't know how I feel about this song. I mean it's really beautiful but I think I'm the only one on here who is not obsessed with it. So far the best thing for me in it is Sharon, she sings better than ever, so emotional and I'm really happy to hear her voice again. (And yeah I really could have lived without this Chris along...) About the lyrics, they put me in a weird mood so far. Still I love what Amy said about it. And I guess I just need to find myself in it.

Honest opinion? I like the chorus and lyrics alot it's like magic! However I think Chris sort of punctures the beauty of the song on the verse. I do like this song I'd probably love it more if it were only Sharon or a guy with a softer voice singing on the record. I admit I obessesed over the 7 second sample on youtube *is a fangirl*

I really love Chris' voice. It's quite rough and makes a good contrast with Sharon's voice. He doesn't over power her at all. They work really well together. I just love the song so much.

I didn't really think it was shocking though. I mean it's different but it's not like some completely different genre or anything. Or maybe I've played it too many times now I just know it as WT.

I'm just gutted I'm gonna have to wait til like 5/6pm to see the video on Monday.

Sharon's voice just blows me away everytime.

Utopia entered the Tipparade at #30. That's not good yet, but it at least shows that Radio 538 sees some potential in it. Forgiven did not enter the Tipparade at all. I'll keep you updated about chart movements

So could anyone explain to me how this is so different to normal WT? I dont get it. Maybe I've listened to it too many times but everyone keeps complaining that it's not WT and it's so different. How is it? It didn't shock me. Plus WT have changed so much with every album there is no set WT style. Mother Earth is a hugely different album to The Heart Of Everything.

Could someone please explain why Utopia is so shocking to everyone? You know apart from how amazing it is.
