Ruud Jolie appreciation thread

Finally today my ticket for The Damian Wilson Band came. Like a month after I ordered it. So I can finally get really excited for seeing Ruud in November

I will do luckily by November I will be 18 so i can stay at the bar where I hope they'll be after the show. I dont think it's a big venue so hopefully I can catch him. And talk my way onto the tour bus

22nd November. It's in Wolverhampton, not too sure where but I'll get a taxi. You going to any of the Dutch dates?

Ruud's a fuckin badass! I swear, I would like to meet him! I'm just like him, literally! I fuck around half of the time, I'm always in a good mood, I joke/mess around, I have a great sense of humor, and yet I'm also responsible and serious when it comes to work! If I had a day where all I did was spend some time with Ruud, it'd be awesome; we'd go do "guy stuff" like pulling off pranks, drinking, doing stupid shit around town, laughing our asses off, hanging out, and other cool shit! (And yes ladies, that's pretty much what we guys like to do!)

About a 50 mins on the train. Then 8 minutes in a taxi from the station. Would take my Dad about 50 minutes to drive up I guess, but then I cant stay around afterwards and the hotel is only £35.

as you can see I've uploaded some new mixes for my demo's and a new version of 'Nomansland' with new lyrics. Still not sure if they are gonna end up this way on the album but it sounds better now with English lyrics...

Léo Margarit...

I'm really happy that I've found a great drummer. His name is Léo Margarit and he plays the drums in 'Pain of Salvation' and 'Zubrowska'. Drumsessions are planned mid june. He's coming over that week from Sweden and we're gonna have a blast. I'm really looking forward to hear him play my tunes. I'm sure it will turn out great!!!

Hopefully I can start recording the guitars soon after that. Kristoffer Gildenlöw is also looking forward to record his basstracks. Nice nice nice

Studio...

My studio is done now! Well for 99% that is... Need to work on the acoustics a little bit but I'm glad the whole construction fiësta is over hahaha...

Other than all this I'm looking for some labels and other ways to get my music heard by people...

I really love those songs, sound even better now. They're very calming and relaxing to me, amazing atmosphere. Yeah, can't wait for the album!
