| All I Need gets my vote - definitely among my top WT songs overall, let alone ballads.
Second would probably be Bittersweet, and Memories and Forgiven and Our Farewell are all up there too... so many beautiful ballads, and Sharon's voice is just perfect for them; it's hard to pick! | |

| I had a family member who was dear to me die a couple of years ago. Forgiven was one of the song that perfectly convoy my thoughts and feelings over that. It will always be my favorite ballad and close to my heart. | |

I voted for All I Need, though I think it only barely qualifies as ballad on the album version (i.e. with the "metal"). I love them all, though, I think the acoustic Ice Queen is also worth mentioning (Mother Earth tour DVD and also on THOE mp3 download)
Anyone that loves the ballads & instrumentals ... checkout youtube users DarkAngelDarkSouls and Mrshina ; the former does violin covers that are absolutely beautiful, the latter plays covers of just the orchestral arrangements behind the metal, likewise awesome.
