| Mmmm...wonderful song. Every part of it. Does anyone know what the choir is saying at the end? I'm pretty sure it's Latin...I just don't know what the Latin words are. I could translate it easily if I knew it...but I don't _________________ 4N6 CHIKchase.the.infinite Rule #1: If it annoys you, kill it. |

| I am not sure what the latin is, now that you mention it! Will have to look into that...
I love this song so much, Sharon's voice is so gorgeous as always, and it has powerful meaning to me in my life. My faith is different from many people who claim to have the same faith as me...and this song's lyrics are just so applicable to me, it rings so true to me, that I can't help but love it. |

| Definitely. Actually, Robert mentions the Da Vinci Code during one of their live performances of this xD I love it.

| But...the DaVinci Code was fiction. This song is about truth...so why does it apply? This song has a completely different meaning to me. The Da Vinci code is not something I concern myself with, though my art history teacher said it was absolutely ridiculous. However, music can mean to you whatever you want it to mean. It doesn't have to mean what the artisti originally intended it for. For me, it deepened my relationship with God, made look beyond the surfacey stuff that gets in the way of understanding who He is and what He is about. This song just brought back all my thoughts about how wrong the organized Church has been about so many things...not even consistent with what they preach. And it has challenged me to live beneath the surface, to live in truth and love. Because of course, in my mind, the Rose is Jesus. I don't know if that was how it was intended. But in one of my favorite hymns, Jesus was "Like a rose trampled on the ground". The things the Church did were horrible, treacherous things. The things Jesus did, and taught us to do, were amazing, and True, and life-giving.
This is what the song means to me...that even though I do not believe in the surface, the antagonistic stance of the church, I can still see the Truth, and believe it, and understand it. |

I love this song for me it sort of rings as an inner search for truth. Especially because I was raised christian, lost my faith in god, and am now a practicing pagan. So this song rings quite personal for me. |

| I have a newly found adoration for this song since the Black Symphony release. The guitar solos in there were PERFECT and they made the song sound so much better. And OMG the orchestra was brilliant. _________________ 4N6 CHIKchase.the.infinite Rule #1: If it annoys you, kill it. |
