You don't know how Ruud is pronounced? I think Sharon calls his name about three times on Mother Earth tour/The Silent Force tour.

'Sharoon'? Maybe I don't get your phonetics but that's not how you should say it. Razz

It doesn't rhyme with 'maroon', that's for sure. Razz

The difference in Dutch/English pronounciation is in the 'a'. Think about 'fall'/'fell'. It's the first one (and the second syllable is stressed), although she sometimes says the second one in English interviews (stressing the first one)

I think only Stephen is pronounced in the regular English way.

The 'A' in 'den Adel' is stressed, so your first option. Smile

As for "van Haestregt", hmm.. that's difficult to explain. I'll give it a go...

"vàn Háástrègt"
The 'Haa' syllable is stressed. The 'g' is the soft one, like at the end of 'spierenburG'. Also keep in mind that 'van' is not pronounced like the English word 'van', but with a short 'a' like in 'fall'.
