I've heard that one before, but never realized it was a demo. Bad quality, but still very nice.

I really love Believer! I'm hooked on this song these days. Well, I still prefer Ice Queen, but I really like the sound of Believer and the lyrics too, and how Sharon sing it.
Also Hand Of Sorrow demo is the one I really like. However album version is better to me again.

Yes Beliver is great.Not perfect lyrics but the sound is great,and Sharon`s voice..reminds me in some way of Grace
Hand Of Sorrow is amaizing.Is it just me or it sounds a little heavier at the beggining than the original?And I still think that Sharon goes "operatic"here...but lyrically Hand Of Sorrow is better in my opinion...
And Run is simply my favorite.The lyrics of Overome are quite better yes,but this song sounds more painful with Sharon`s evil voice and louder orchestra...wel lthat`s just me opinion

My favourites are Run, Beleiver and Caged. I have never listened to Restless Demo though! I didn't think it had one...

ok so i got bored and went hunting for Mindwalker or atleast info on were it is, this is all i could find on the subject

Extremely rare item - 7 copies are known to exist. They where made for the band
members only (and one for their boss at the time)

The demo didn't have a divulged title (at least we don't know it). It was
recorded to cassette. It was a 'home recording'.

The track 'Grace' on this demo is a demo version of the song 'Candles' from
Enter. 'Blooded' was re-recorded for 'Enter' using the same name. 'Within' is
NOT an 'Enter' demo (many people tend to think it is), but a completely
different track. 'Mindwalker' is a 'Restless' (also track on Enter) demo.

Side A of this demo is 28 minutes long, but it only contains 3 songs; 2 known
songs (as listed below) and one unknown song (no-one can place this track into
perspective). The rest of this side is filled with either silence or audio
samples.

So unfortunally it seems we will never hear it, unless we borrow it ofc (joke) or they auction it based on that id say it woud go to collectors for quite abit and we will never hear it as it will get filled in a vault someware

I just had a weird idea that the new song would be Mindwalker Or they're singing with Nightwish <3 They did say unexpected.

Maybe it will be so damn heavy with a lot of grunts and growls?

Grunts, growls, pop, metal...shit, it could be country or rap and I'll still fuckin love it! Trust me, Sharon makes ANY type of song/music sound good with her voice! Her voice breaks the boundaries and rules (in a good way); I mean, she proved that with In and Out of Love (which is TRANCE/HOUSE, practically the opposite of metal/rock)

Wow...I'm really finding myself wishing they had released those demos...They're beautiful. <3

On the demo tape there is even a sample of an unknown demo. maybe i am willing to share those too

I also got the demo of the portal with an older version of restless than mindwalker is:P

I have gotten ahold of the songs a while ago, and I know now that the intro is not live. Still, the orchestra is less audible (were the real orchestra parts even recorded by then?) which makes the intro sound a bit different. In my book, any song that sounded different (musicly or lyrically) when it was performed pre-albumrelease, is a demo. Some people even call Dark Wings from Mother Earth tour a demo.

Another day and TOHOM are indeed bad recording, but it was in 1997, so it is not so strange and yea i know the howling demo but i thought it was not diffrence than the version on the cd. Or am i wrong ??
