That is lighting. They used different colored lights to give it those colors--the dress itself is actually white.

oh really....... well if its white i take back all i said about the dress its just because it looks pink it makes it look too much like a jelly fish but in fact if its white i want that for a wedding dress

Yeah, that was my main problem with it. It looks too prom-y. Maybe with like a black corset over it and a slightly less poofy skirt or something.
