Don't Tear Me Down has uploaded the show too, sadly with computer sounds
For people who want the translation, here is the first part. Someone else will do the second part I think
You have a long evening to come. You have to go to NOTP... when did you start that? R: NOTP? For me that's more drinking beer, because Sharon is alone with the orchestra - but that's heavy too! S: Yes, very heavy. Why aren't you playing along? R: We are very busy writing the next record. And you don't need Sharon for that? R: Yes, also. But she saves her best for last. S: That's what you're hoping... Okay. Are you going to watch her? R: Yes, I'm definitely going to watch somtimes. So, Sharon, how is NOTP? S: Very nice! Super nice, and with a great, good orchestra, and backstage it's very comfy, with OMD etc. we're playing poker every night with the crew. There's also some work done, haha, but we are having a great time. You have a beautiful cd out, AANATT, it was recorded last year November in Eindhoven, why there, did you plan that? S: Not entirely, but the venue has a good room acoustic, and the people there were willing to cooperate the most, and it's a good venue. And it worked out great! It sounds fantastic S: Yes, thank you! Are you satisfied yourselves too? S: Yes, very satisfied. And it must be strange to hear your own music that way, on the record R: Well, when we were busy for the tour, you are going to look at the songs again, how are we going to do that acousticly? Sometimes you play acoustically for radio, but now it's a bit bigger. And for us the surprising part was that it can sound very loaded. We were expecting a 'campfire' sound, but we succeeded to bring a lot of atmosphere in it, and that surprised us too. And also, while playing, you have to watch what you're doing? R: It's more playing out of your senses. Because usually when we play live with the guitars fully amplified, it's more physical we're running and jumping, we have the power from the PA etc. And now it's more about playing to each other, and to catch the feeling, and that is found in the details, your timing, how hard you hit something, and for Sharon as well - she is in her bare ass. S: Yeah, haha. R: It's very exciting. And the audience is very quiet. You have to work really concentrated R: Yeah, it's very exciting actually. And people usually sit in the theatre, right? R: Yeah, absolutely. They're sitting there like "show us what you've got" Yeah. But the surprising thing that happened that you are more together this way. You are concentrated yourself, but the audience is too - while they're usually just moving along with a beer in her hand, you go into the show together. And the discharging after a song is heavier.

It's an expression, for being exposed. But Sharon thought it was funny too
So that must be FOTC's rip right? Too bad it's converted to WAV, that takes up so much space But at least the bleep in Utopia is absent.

Second part:
I hear it - you really like it S: Yes, sure And you come to venues that you normally wouldn't play? S: No, absolutely, for us it's a special environment to play, and for our fans as well, I think Because usually we play in the normal venues and it's nice to play in an other environment, for them more atmospherical environment. There are a lot of venues, I see. Yes, and we are especially proud to be playing in Carré Here in Amsterdam. Yes, I know only one. Haha Next year... Yes, in April. Then we're doing the next tour, 18 or 19 shows, of which one in Carré. And I see here Stadsschouwburg Middelburg, Nieuwe Luxor in Rotterdam, that one's sold out, Oosterpoort Groningen, also sold out. S: Yes, it goes fast. People seem to like it. Great. Are you also busy making the next album? R: Yes, we have a base ready. We know where we're heading, and that's a nice feeling. Now we just have to finish it. Are you staying in Netherlands, because you play abroad too? R: Yes, for writing. And during the tour we make it to Belgium, but when the new record is out, we'll be collecting air miles again. S: Haha Is that still fun after 13 years, Sharon? S: Yes, I think so. You like the traveling too? S: Well, traveling is the most tiring part. But what is nice, is that you visit new countries, different cultures. Last year we went to Russia, Japan, and those are great and special countries... South America... R: The funny thing is when you visit a place you've already been to, you come to Oslo or Chicago or Tokyo and you're like "Oh yeah!" It feels at home. S: Haha R: You come home in many places. At a certain instant, you feel safe there. It's a funny feeling. You must have had that here too this afternoon, because you've been here recently R: Yes. S: No, that's right Glad to have you back here. Play two more songs for us S: Yes Good luck with NOTP S: Yes, thank you ...and you good luck at the bar R: Yes, thank you, that's true.

Yeah it is, I reconverted to MP3, much more manageable. Four acoustic Utopias already, how wonderful!! I shall have to send that translation on as well! I love when they get translated, there are so many interviews out there that I don't understand at all!

You can always ask the dutchies I like to translate interviews, only spoken interviews are a bit hard to do. You first have to write down what they are saying (and they always talk much faster then you can write!) and then translate it.. It takes some time

I didn't write it down in Dutch, that would have taken too much time for me The consequence is that it's not a literal translation, like if they say pretty much the same thing in two different ways, I translated it only one time.
