- The first copies of The Dance were sold at Dynamo '98, where Within Temptation were performing on the main stage
- Ivar de Graaf left the band in February 1998 after recording his guitar parts for the EP, to concentrate on his other projects. He was replaced by Ciro Palma, whom the band knew from The Circle, Robert's first band

| I love The Dance so much. I know the remixes aren't very popular but I found a love for Candles and Pearls of Light Remix the other day.
I think The Dance, Another Day and The Other Half (Of Me) are 3 of my favourite WT songs.
I think the multimedia section was a good idea too. | |

| i love THE DANCE  it`s my 2nd fave CD from WT,wish it was an album..but just 3 songs and 2 remixes?damn! i love the melancholyc style from Another Day and The Dance...and TOHOM it`s really creappy one of the best WT songs! | I love The Dance so much! My fav song should be Another Day after all, I love the atmosphere of it, lyrics... But TOHOM and The Dance are simply brilliant too! I wish it was the second album with more songs like that.  I don't care much of the remixes though. | |
