| How can you not like Jane Doe?? It's melody is so catchy and her voice just gives me chills when I listen to it.
This is actually my very favorite WT song.

| I think it's about someone who told this girl (whoever she may be. Jane Doe is the name used for an unidentified female) something very private, very personal. And she laughed, thought it was funny and made jokes about that person. So he (we'll just assume it's a guy) killed her before she told anyone else.
"No matter how many stones you put inside" = filling the body with stones so that it'll sink and stay at the bottom of the river or lake or whatever.
But she's resting on his conscience. She won't leave his mind and it's killing him because he knows he shouldn't have killed her....but he couldn't let her live or she would tell everyone his secret.
Or, that's what I got from it at least.

| I think songs with stories behind them or that tell stories are ten times cooler than lyrics that don't really make any sense. | |

| I love Jane Doe. I was amazed to see it live.
I love on TSF Tour DVD how the orchestra is erm how do you explain it maybe heavier or there is more orchesta or maybe it's just a lot louder. I dont know but the orchestra is more on it.
I love it, it's really quite haunting.

| I love it live because it's heavier. Though I do love that the studio version sounds more acoustic. | |

| I love Jane Doe! I agree with Andy's interpretation. It reminds of an episode of CSI. It was a 12/13 year olf boy who killed his 5/6 year old brother because he thought it was funny that he still wet the bed. Sad... but applicable. | |

| *low whistle*
I was just listening to this song live at Eindhoven, and I noticed that when She says:
"No matter how many stones you put inside She always keeps on floating in your mind With every turn of your head, you see her face again, until the end"
and
"The sins of your life are now catching up with you You can't stay ahead, there's nothing you can do With every turn of your head, you see her face again, until the end"
The background guitars remind me of a like...80's dance song. xD Only, like 15 times more epic.
Someone please tell me I'm not alone here. xD

| I dont think we'll get anymore grunting songs Read quite a few interviews on it, I dont think he thinks he's that good. Well not George good. He doesn't think that many people miss he's grunts either Jane Doe is amazing I think it was a better choice to release TSF with Jane Doe and Destroyed on. | |

| Thats the impression I got. He didnt say it but he doesn't seem to think people miss his growls. In the documentary on BS it says at the time it was a new thing to combine grunts and something melodic. I guess now it's become really quite popular so they moved on. | |
