great..WHYD is a very nice song but i`m not sure if i can say that is the best Wt song But probably is one of the most good-knowned And many like it

i like lyrics of WHYD

Me too The only thing i don`t really like is "What have you done!?"is to repetitive.
But anyway all WT songs are amaizing

Caged is just the perfect song for me. Amazing lyrics, such diversity in the music from soft to heavy. Sharon sings evil, soft, and high and slightly lower. Just everything about it is epic.

This is really a matter of opinion...

For me it is Pale and Frozen obviously since they are my favorites that simply mean the world to me.

EDIT: I said SMG earlier this year and now I realize why I thought that...so yeah SMG...It is epic.

Agree Kellie,Caged is amaizing,first time when i got ME i`ve listened to caged 3 times,and just then i`ve listened to The Promise

Have to vote for The Promise here as well, I think it's the greatest masterpiece. Though I truly love each song of WT, The Promise will stay as my all-time fav one, I'm pretty sure.

I lied. The Truth Beneath the Rose is the best. I think it is truly shows the essence of WT. It is sem-open-ended lyrically, but it has that element of fantasy and religion. The orchestral parts are gorgeous, the vocals are stunning. The song in itself has the diversity of WT all packed into one little unit.

It is the ruler by which all WT songs should be measured.

I vote for Pale, even though it's not on the list. I absolutely love it to peices. It was a hard choice I must say!

Whell I would have to say that my best Within Temptation song is See Who I Am, but I also love Ice Queen and Mother Earth!!

1)All I Need: EVERYTHING about the song is epic! Love the guitars, the jazzy-like feel, Sharon's voice is so smooth and beautiful, love the "Pop-ish" sound, and the lyrics are amazing and powerful!
2)The Howling: Hardcore, badass guitars, the style!
3)Memories: Sad, yet so beautiful and powerful!
4)The Other Half (of Me): The duet, the contrast between the vocals, the darkish and eerie mood, the musical background, and it's an adrenaline-rush!
